Welcome to the Autum Cyber School in Normandy 2025 !
Cybersecurity has become a top priority as our lives are increasingly connected to cyberspace. Research in this field is highly active, with direct impacts on our daily lives. This fall school aims to provide a comprehensive perspective on cybersecurity and highlights current research trends across various topics.
As a participant, you will attend lectures led by renowned experts in AI, digital law, malware, multimedia data protection, and more. These sessions are designed to deepen your understanding of both foundational principles and cutting-edge developments. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate in group projects on real-world cybersecurity challenges. These hands-on experiences will not only strengthen your technical skills but also promote interdisciplinary teamwork and creative problem-solving.
Beyond the academic program, the fall school offers a rich cultural experience. You will discover the charm of Normandy through engaging social events, guided tours, and informal gatherings that foster connections between participants and faculty. Whether exploring historical landmarks or enjoying local cuisine, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to relax and network in a friendly, inspiring atmosphere.
Whether you are a master's student, PhD candidate, or young researcher, if you're looking for a unique cybersecurity experience in an exceptional setting in France, this Automn Cyberschool is for you!"
This event is part of the CYRCE project which is receiving government funding managed by the French National Research Agency - France 2020 programme under the reference ANR-23-CMAS--0027

WHO ARE WE ?
About Academic coordinators
We are a group of six teachers specializing in cybersecurity issues, and we are involved in the CYRCE project, which aims to strengthen and develop new cybersecurity training programs in the Normandy region. The project also seeks to reinforce the connection between education and research.
GREYC, founded in 1996 as a joint research unit affiliated with CNRS, ENSICAEN, and UNICAEN, comprises 180 members, including 85 researchers and faculty members. It conducts fundamental, methodological, and applied research in the field of digital sciences. GREYC consists of six research teams, including SAFE. The SAFE team conducts research in cybersecurity across three main areas, ensuring continuity from theoretical aspects to practical applications, with each area enriching the others:
Biometrics: Design and evaluation of biometric systems, biometric data protection.
Security Architecture and Models: Network security (IoT, SDN, 5G), applied cryptography, randomness, and information protection.
Forensic Science: Natural language processing (NLP), forensic platforms, privacy protection
About ICREJ
Now bringing together around fifty teacher-researchers and about twenty doctoral students from the University of Caen Normandy, the ICREJ conducts both fundamental and applied legal research around four main themes: vulnerable persons and fundamental rights, domestic and international litigation, digital technology and sciences, and the historical and theoretical developments of law.
About UNICAEN
Each year, UNICAEN welcomes about 2900 international students of 116 different nationalities. About 370 UNICAEN students benefit from exchange and cooperation programs developed by the University with 279 partner institutions in 50 different countries worldwide. As a member of the Erasmus network since 1987, UNICAEN recently signed the Erasmus University Charter 2021-2027
